Russell Brand’s father has publicly defended his son against unproven allegations of r@pe and sexual assault.

The Times and Sunday Times reported that several women have come forward with allegations about Brand’s behavior in the early 2000s. These allegations have not been investigated but have sparked a joint investigation by the newspapers and Channel 4.

New accusations have emerged, including one from a woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by Brand when she was 16 and still in school.

Ron Brand, the comedian’s 80-year-old father, has criticized the unproven allegations and suggested that dark forces, including the BBC, are pursuing a vendetta against his son as more women come forward with accusations. He questioned the priorities of BBC News, asking if the unproven accusations from 15 years ago should take precedence over other global issues such as the conflict in Ukraine and the cost of living.

In a separate Facebook post, he compared the allegations to accusing a man who owns an orchard of stealing an apple.

Ron Brand has been described as a pivotal figure in his son’s life, particularly in influencing his “rapacious” sex addiction. In Russell Brand’s autobiography, he revealed details about his sexual experiences, including watching porn videos at his father’s house when he was in primary school and later engaging with prostitutes during a trip to the Far East with his father at the age of 17.

During the trip, Ron hired three prostitutes, and Russell Brand’s sexual encounters during this time significantly impacted his views on sexuality.
