Geezer Butler, born Terence Michael Joseph Butler on July 17, 1949, in Aston, Birmingham, England, comes from an Irish-Catholic background. He is globally recognized as a musician, lyricist, and prominent bass guitarist, primarily for being an integral member of the iconic heavy metal band, Black Sabbath.
