According to reports, Ghanaian singer Hajia4Real has allegedly been arrested in the United Kingdom for involvement in an $8 million fraud scheme. Hajia4Real, also known as Mona Fiaz Montrage, traveled to the UK on October 31 for the Ghana Music Awards UK. Despite visiting for the awards, she continued to extend her stay and shared updates on her time in London on Instagram. However, on November 11, she was reportedly arrested in connection with a dubious deal she had been involved in during her recent visit to the United States. It is said that her arrest was a result of collaboration between the US and the UK, and she had been on a “red list” in the US for some time. Ghanaian media personalities have suggested that Hajia4Real may have acted as a “middle-man” for internet fraudsters. Photos of the singer were shared alongside the reports of her alleged arrest.
