Rap queen, Nicki Minaj, at 37 years old, is expecting her first child. The happy news was shared by Minaj on Monday, July 20, through Instagram with photos of her baby bump and the caption “#Preggers.”
One of the photos on her Instagram page shows a blue-haired Minaj standing and cradling her bump.
Another photo shared by the rapper carries a caption expressing her excitement and gratitude, “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.”
Prior to the announcement, Nicki Minaj hinted at her pregnancy when she playfully concealed her stomach with a baby shark in promotional photos for Trollz last month. In response to a cheeky fan asking for a baby bump pic, she amusingly replied, “The world aint ready yet.”
In October 2019, the rapper surprised fans by announcing her marriage to Kenneth Petty, an old friend. She shared her new legal name as “Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,” signifying the date she officially became Mrs. Petty.
